2) How are the Shop Small All-Stars businesses selected?

Selected American Express accepting local businesses each from 6 selected categories/ districts have been selected based on a series of criteria, such as American Express Card Member spend, business reputation, industry type and location.

The districts and categories are:
(a) Bugis – Apparel & Fashion
(b) Katong – Café & Bakery
(c) Chinatown – Chinese Restaurants
(d) Tanjong Pagar – Korean Restaurants
(e) Telok Ayer – Restaurant Bars
(f) Female-Owned

3) How can I participate?

For Shop Small All-Stars Nominees
If you are a nominated Shop Small All-Stars business, you can display the nominee decal that we will be delivering to your store around July/ August and encourage your customers to vote for you from 26 August to 15 September 2024.

For All Others
You can vote for your favourite Shop Small All-Stars business and receive a S$5 Grab voucher (limited to the first 1,000 voters) and stand a chance to win S$2,000 in cash in the grand draw.

4) Is there a prize for the Shop Small All-Stars winning businesses?

The winning businesses with the most votes for the district-specific categories (Bugis, Katong, Chinatown, Tanjong Pagar and Telok Ayer) will be awarded an advertising package with Mediacorp worth S$50,000 and a special decal to display the accolade at their stores.

The winning business in the Female-Owned category will receive a special decal to display the accolade at their store and have their logo placed on the car of F1 ACADEMY™ driver, Jess Edgar, among other benefits.

5) What are the Shop Small All-Stars businesses that have been nominated?

All Shop Small All-Stars business nominees will be published from 26 August 2024 at www.shopsmallallstars.com

6) If I am a Shop Small All-Stars business nominee, can I share it on social media to get my customers to vote for me?

Yes, you can share it on your social media pages by downloading the digital assets that we have created for you at go.amex/imallstars from 26 August 2024 onwards.

7) Can I continue to display the Shop Small All-Stars business nominee decal even if my business is not the ultimate winner?

Yes, you can continue displaying the nominee decal at your business.

8) What do I get if I vote?

The first 1,000 voters will receive a S$5 Grab voucher and all voters will stand a chance to win S$2,000 in cash in the grand draw.
